New Kitchen Table & Chairs!

Here are some pictures of my latest project. I had a small table and chair set that my Aunt gave to us when we first moved to New York. It really needed some love and a bit of a makeover. Charo helped me paint them Hot Lips pink. Mom and I reupholstered the chairs in a black and white checkered pattern to match my new retro kitchen. I am going for a McKenzie-Childs inspired look. I received a gorgeous tea kettle set from my best friend Ashley's Mom, Gayle, as a shower gift. I'm really excited about the new kitchen! It's fresh and funky. I already find myself spending more time cooking it in. It is almost ready. Just a few more finishing touches...
